How-to Overview¶
Prefect Self-Managed requires an existing Kubernetes cluster to be deployed into.
If infrastructure is required, see the implementation guides linked below for baseline configurations on your cloud provider.
Prefect Implementation¶
Due to the complexity of the application stack, configuration options, and cloud agnostic nature of the product, installation is performed through Helm.
If you already have all the existing infrastructure in place, and are just looking to install and configure Prefect, select the link below to get started.

Infrastructure Implementation¶
As every customers cloud infrastructure and security requirements are different, the cloud infrastructure tutorial below are intended solely to bootstrap a working, Self-Managed Prefect environment.
Any additional configuration options such as security, roles, data retention and backup policies would be at your discretion and are not included here.
AWS, GCP, and Azure, are all fully supported.
